Our Story

Jana Loyd and I met on Halloween in 1987 in Lubbock, Texas.  Almost a year later, we were planning our wedding.  After being married on October 1, 1988, we began working towards our dream of spending the rest of our lives together.  We have had several ups and downs, have moved from Lubbock, to Amarillo, to Snyder, and finally to McKinney, Texas in the DFW metroplex.  It wasn't easy, but we merged two families into one and we all feel a close bond.  We have been blessed with grandchildren and their pictures are on the following pages.  We have suffered the loss of parents and friends, but through it all, Jana and I still have each other and a wonderful family.  Thank you for visiting the website and feel free to contact us at any time. - Jim Dickey
